Continuing in the tradition of sharing sorrow with the people of Japan, Ambassador Farukh Amil, like his predecessors participated in the annual Hiroshima Commemoration ceremony which was attended by the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, President of the United Nations General Assembly, leading global personalities and Tokyo-based Ambassadors. The Ambassador also met with the Mayor and Governor of Hiroshima.
