(02-12-2016): Minister of State the Honourable Nasser Khan Janjua, on the invitation of the Japanese Government made a successful and productive visit to Japan holding wide ranging talks with political, defence and government establishments of Japan. The Minister of State discussed various important issues regarding security and co-operation in multiple areas with his Japanese counterparts besides re-affirming bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the visit, the Minister of State emphasized at various forums Pakistan’s unwavering efforts and concrete steps to maintain peace in the region. He called upon the international community to acknowledge Pakistan’s unflinching resolve in this regard and collaborate in more meaningful manner.
The Minister of State also held productive meetings with various academics and Government officials and discussed issues of mutual interest including further steps and concrete efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations.
