(07-02-20017): The Ambassador, Farukh Amil, met with the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Ambassador for Kansai Region, His Excellency Mr. Yoichi Suzuki in Osaka on 3rd February 2017. Mr. Khalid Jamil, Commercial Counsellor, Osaka also accompanied the Ambassador.
They discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two governments. Mr. Amil mentioned the focus of Pakistan on deepening the relationship between SME’s of Kansai region and export oriented cities of Pakistan such as Sialkot. This has resulted in increased number of business delegations from Pakistan as well as greater participation of Japanese companies Trade Fairs in Pakistan.
They also discussed on the need for greater international cooperation in all areas as many of the current and emerging challenges are global in nature.
